This course seeks to examine the domestic sources of Russian foreign policy. The issues that will be covered in this course include institutional design, the presidency, the legislature, elections, problems of party-formation and consolidation, economic reform, public opinion, mass media, nationalism, federalism, the processes of systemic transition and democratization in post-Soviet Russia
