Course ContentThis course concentrates on the distinctive characteristics and functioning of the European Community`s legal order. It aims to provide an introduction to this sui generis system of law regarding the establishment, sources and organizational characteristics of the European Integration. In this context, special emphasis is given to the role of law as a tool for integration within the European Integration Movement. The development of the European Integration as regards deepening and widening are discussed while focusing on the present stage of enlargement. To provide a general approach towards the principles, policies, actions and strategies of the European Community including the four principles of free movement is also amongst the principle aims of this course.
