Course ContentThe purpose of the course is to inform students about the Turkish system of Private International Law. The course addresses the Law of Nationality and the Status of Aliens. The former deals with the legal rules governing the acquisition, loss and proof of nationality and the resolution of conflicts of nationality. The latter comprises the legal principles and rules that determine the rights and duties of foreigners who reside on the territory of a state.
