Course ContentThe aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic theme, principles, and the implementation of the American postwar security policies. An assessment of the containment policies of the US policy-makers towards the Soviet Union will be given a special emphasis. The course is designed to enable students to understand properly the post cold-war period in US foreign policy and its implications for the world peace and order.
